You can have the best idea in the world, but if you can’t explain it to the right people, in the right place, it won’t matter. Marketing isn’t about being everywhere or doing everything—it’s about picking a few channels, saying something clear, and repeating it until people notice.
Most new businesses fail here. They either spray messages across 10 different platforms or freeze because they don’t know where to start. This module is designed to keep things simple, focused, and effective.
Before you jump into AI or strategies, take a blank page and write down:
Copy and paste this into ChatGPT (or your AI tool of choice):
Act as an experienced marketing coach. I need help creating a simple marketing strategy for my business idea.
My business is: [insert your idea here]
Please help me design a clear plan that includes:
- Who my target customer is (with a short description)
- What message or offer will grab their attention
- The top 2–3 marketing channels I should focus on first (email, social, outreach, etc.)
- 3 specific content or campaign ideas I can use to test my message
- A short “elevator pitch” I can use when introducing my business
Keep it simple and realistic—I want to avoid overwhelm and focus on what will move the needle fastest.
Before you write the strategy, ask me questions to clarify my customer, my offer, and my goals.

At the beginning, it doesn’t matter if you choose Facebook, Google Ads, or TikTok—what matters is that you focus on one and stick with it.
Repurposing content across platforms sounds smart, but in practice it leads to frustration. Every platform is different, and you’ll burn out fast trying to do them all. Pick one, go deep, and get good at it.

No matter which platform you pick, always collect email addresses. Social media platforms change, algorithms shift, but an email list is yours forever.
