Ads don’t create demand — they scale it.
📖 Why This Matters
If you’ve made your first sale, congratulations—that’s the hardest step. Now you can start thinking about digital marketing as fuel.
But ads aren’t the only path forward. You actually have several ways to scale your message online:
- Paid Ads (Google, Meta, TikTok): Put your offer in front of more people fast, but require a warchest to test and learn.
- Influencer Marketing: Partner with someone who already has the audience you want. This can be cheaper, faster, and sometimes more effective than ads—especially for local businesses or niche products.
- Content Marketing: Create valuable posts, videos, or resources that build trust over time (slower, but long-term asset).
👉 In this module we’ll focus mainly on ads, but keep influencer partnerships in mind. A single micro-influencer posting your product to the right 2,000 followers can sometimes do more for you than $500 in ads.
But ads aren’t magic. They won’t turn a “maybe” idea into a thriving business. What they will do is put a proven offer in front of more people. To do that wisely, you need to know:
- How much your customer is worth
- How much it costs to acquire one
- How your ad spend converts into clicks and sales
